CRYOSURGERY
New applications for cryosurgery has been developed throughout the 30 years that it has been used in medical practice. It advantages over other surgical techniques include.
Little or no pain avoiding the need for anaesthesia.
Excellent cosmetic results without scarring Usually no bleeding.
Well-researched and proven effectiveness.
All Danesh portable cryoguns (PCGs) has been designed to offer:
Portability & Versatility : over elevan specialized interchangeable tips are available.
-A natural trigger position.
Safety : operates from N20 or CO2 cylinders. with all exhaust gases collected.
- Warning of attempted pressurized-tip removal.
Simplicity : one control to turn on and one trigger to freeze and defrost.

THE INTERNAL THERMOCOUPLE:
[in C-505T, C-502T] provides precise tip temperature monitoring capability for every freeze therefore assuring adequate freeze performance with each treatment.
Main features of the cryoguns, C-502T & C-505T, C-501, C-502 are:
Fast freezing uptil-80°c/-60°c
Cryo probe tips are autoclavable uptil+134°c Probe shaft immersible in cidex or habitane. Complete gas scavenging.
A linear ON/OFF valve in the hand piece admits the flow of gas from the cylinder to the instrument (in C-502T & C-505T)

Multi-disciplinary: A guide to the many conditions treatable by the PCGs follow:

PROCTOLOGY:
Inner hemorrhoids 1st. and 2nd. degree, acute anal fissures and peri-anal condylomas are indications for C-502 & C-502T

DERMATOLOGY:
Warts, skin tags, senile keratoses, sebhorrhoeic warts, comedones. pyogenic granulomas and naevi [C-502 & C-502T]

VETERINARY:
Skin and peri-anal tumors.

ORAL SURGERY & E.N.T.
Hyperplasic, granulomatous, ulcerative and erosive lesions, leukoplakias, haemangiomas. mucocoeles and chronic lip fissures are commonly, treated with a Danesh cryoconsole and cryoprobes [C-502 & C-502T].

CHIROPODY:
The avoidance of scarring on the plantar surface together with speed relative painlessness and minimal bleeding makes cryosurgery the treatment of choice for verrcuae plantaris.

PCGs TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Controls: Gas pressure with self-venting regulator.
Trigger for defrost action.
Indicator: Regulated gas pressure.
Cryogen gas: Nitrous oxide N2O of carbon Dioxide CO2 medical grade from nonsyphon cylinders. Use cylinder of minimum 3/6 litres capacity [Type F] except when carrying the cylinders is essential. Working pressure 50 kgf/cm [711 lbf/in]
Safely features: Preset regulator output-pressure limit of 56kg/cm [800 lbf/in] total gas collection warning of pressurized-tip removal.
Probe Tip Temperature Monitoring ensures optimum and reproducible freeze performance.
Micro filters built into the inner exosis prevent particles from entering the gas line in the cryoprobe Rapid freeze and quick defrost.
Low voltage [9V. Battery] in C-502T & C-505T portable design adapts to various cylinder configurations.
No electrical shock hazard.

(A) Naevus on an eight month-old child;
(B) Same patient two months after cryosurgery using a joule-Thomson nitrous oxide probe (three two-minute application);
(C) Same patient one month after further cryosurgical treatment
